Hit Parade #1 Stateside Records EP (Portugal) Jay Stevens & Gil Grant SUDDENLY YOU LOVE ME / SCARBOROUGH FAIR / MIGHTY QUINN / WILL YOU LOVE ME TOMORROW
The four songs included reveal this as being from the spring of 1968 (note that the “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” that was a hit around that time was the remake by the Four Seasons, not the Shirelles). I went over to YouTube and typed “Jay Stevens & Gil Grant” into the search engine, just to see if there was a snowball’s chance in hell that they could possibly be the two people in the photo. The search came up empty, as did a Google image search, which turned up nothing but more Jpgs and Gifs of this EP. It’s obviously just some stock photograph that has nothing whatsoever to do with any of the tunes, and I can’t even imagine what it was originally intended for. Anybody?
