Albert the Alley Cat was a Milwaukee area puppet on TV6 (WITI). I’m not sure but it may have been a CBS affiliate then and is a FOX now.

After a bit of research I discovered that Albert the Alley Cat was the reason that the station lost it’s AWS certification in the 70’s. It seems having a puppet give the weather forecast was not as cool to the powers that be as it was to me at the age of 8.
