Zoot Sims “The Art of Jazz” Seeco Records With Bob Brookmeyer, Milt Hinton, Gus Johnson and John Williams (1963)
Zoot was a legend.
At first I thought it was a 1970’s Saturday Night Live retro moment of Father Guido Sarducci’s classic ‘Find the popes in the pizza contest’ …?
I believe this is Dexter’s favorite LP.
“Holy Easter Saturday….It’s Saturday Night Live’s own…. Don Norvello?!”
The music is as great as the art is bad.
