I loved this movie. It also gave me one of the biggest opening of eves ever, when Brando’s gang are fooling around in the bar while grooving to jazz music. I say that because years and years of associating biker gangs with rock and roll and hard rock it was a shock and it made me realize how the industry has finally convinced us that rock an, once a vital, new music, and its derivations, is the only popular music that exists, ever existed and will ever exist.
I mean, if the movie was shot today not only the biker gang would enter backed by G. Thorogood’s “Bad to the bone”, but if it did not everybody would be saying how they should have totally put BttB in the scene.
