(1964) Gene Barge (Sax (Alto), Baby Face Willette (Organ), Jerold Donavon (Drums), Ben White (Guitar) Esmond Edwards (Producer), Ron Malo (Engineer), Don Bronstein (Design), Don Bronstein (Cover Photo) His masterpiece, and one of the greatest Hammond organ albums ever, is his Blue Note release “Face to Face.” This is his second LP for Argo and his last as a leader. Baby-Face soon after disappeared and, while unconfirmed, is said to have passed away in 1971.

Rugger Ditties “The First XV Sing Rugby Songs” Summit Records 1965.
This one is courtesy of lp cover lover, Andrew Flynn of Chandler, Arizona who writes “This was in my uncle’s collection from college (late 60’s). That’s Ann-Margret on the cover. It’s just a bunch of guys singing songs in what sounds like a pub. Not great – the cover was the best part. Apparently “First XV” is a rugby (and sometimes soccer) term meaning “first team”. “
