Fruity tutti

Goofy Grape and the Whole Funny Face Gang “Sings Awful” On Mark 56 Records. A Pillsbury (Funny Face) Production. Backed by a killer studio session group including Rootin’ Tootin’ Raspberry, Loudmouth Lime, Jolly Olly Orange, Freckle Face Strawberry, Choo-choo Cherry and Lefty Lemon.

(Editor’s Note: The voice of Goofy Grape and his whole gang is the work of one man – Paul Frees, who unbelievably was also the Pillsbury Doughboy, George Harrison AND John Lennon in the animated Saturday morning Beatles cartoon series, Boris Badenov, Mr. Bedrock, Toucan Sam, Morocco Mole, Secret Squirrel, Squiddley Diddley and too many other classic TV cartoon characters to mention. Thanks Carl for making the point!)

“A memento of the “Better Homes For a Better America campaign on NBC radio from ALCOA.”   Music from Monitor records.   Check out the super space-age, bachelor pad turntable!   Futuristic furniture from the late fifties.   This industrial design, hi-fi console looks like a piece of modern art.
