“Music While You Drive” Listening to music while you drive can be perfect. With the windows rolled up or the top rolled down, sometimes music just sounds best in your automobile. Crank the volume and the outside world becomes a silent background to the songs.

This is from 1967 because the two cars pictured are a 1967 Plymouth Valiant at the top and a 1967 Imperial at the bottom… the two extremes of Chrysler’s range.

Music to drive by, but those bumps tend to make the record skip.
It’s been said that the interior of automobiles provide some of the most impressive audio listening spaces known to man/woman. Of course, a big boat like a vintage Cadillac, Lincoln or Chrysler in the preferred “concert hall on wheels”.
Movie trivia: the recent movie The Green Hornet featured a cool car with a flip down phonograph for listening to LPs as you drive. Sounds super to me!
