I’ve heard of gold plated toilets. Butt this…
A space bound Brazilian astronaut leaving Cape Titty Caca.
Using natural gas, of course.
“Ahhh the only way to fly.”

Ah, the great Lamartine Babo, aka Lalau.
He is not riding on a rocket. It’s a hot air balloon, like the ones people used to release during Festas Juninas (originally harverst feasts now an opportunity to people in the city dress like old times peasants and drink hot red wine with ginger). These balloons are outlawed, because they tend to lit a fire wherever they land, but you can still spot a few on chilly June-August nights).
Lalau wrote a lot of Festa Juninas songs, the most famous is the one about a girl complaing to Saint John about not having a husband, to what the saind replied: \Matrimony? Go ask Saint Anthony!\

Well… at least I had the “hot air” part right.

BTW, Titicaca is in Bolivia, up in the Andes, not a handy place. Our launch base is in Alcântara. I could send you a Googlemap location, but I just noticed that they “blurred” it on purpose, so that foreign spies won’t steel our precious high-tech secrets!
