I did a little poking around. Something slightly unusual: This act released not just one, but two(!) albums. As you know, sophomore efforts for music of this genre on tiny homegrown labels are not very common. The higher the hair, the closer to heaven? Seriously, WTF is is it with the HAIR? is there some phrase in the bible that says “Thou shalt wear massive HAIR, as it pleaseth the LORD.”? If there’s one common thread through all the christian record photos it’s HAIR!

Maybe it’s of a piece with other religions’ headcovering rules. It’s the Christian woman’s turban. 😀
Actually I think the massive hair is because a lot of fundamentalists believe a woman should have very long hair, but letting it down is something you only do for your husband.
