“A Wonderful Time”  The Whelchel Family    There are so many of these local Christian music records in dollar bins around the country, but some covers rise above and scratch one’s aesthetic itch to please on a higher level.  This one is rich in its simplicity and earnestness.  Also the fashion and hair and girth.

   I don’t believe I’ve never seen anyone look good in avocado. By any chance, are these people from Texas? I’d be curious to know if they are in any way related to former mouseketeer and “Facts Of Life” alumnus Lisa Welchel, who has always been a bit of a holy roller (she was married to a minister for many years).
