I did a little research. Apparently this guy was the only spoken word “artiste” on Capitol’s Tower subsidiary, which was much more noteworthy for it’s soundtracks to various different A.I.P. teen exploitation flicks. Apparently there was something about Mr. Wilson’s corn-pone rural homilies that Mike Curb must have found appealing. Anyhow, he’s all over YouTube. His thick Louisiana drawl is a bit difficult to understand at times:
