Swampland Jewels.   A nice collection of great New Orleans tunes.   I’m particularly fond of Cleveland Crochet’s “Sugar Bee”

   Based on the song “Sugar Bee” and that Boozoo Chavis is on this album, this is a Zydeco/Cajun Album with a generous helping of blues.

   Gladly! “Sugar Bee” has a sweet sting, and the rest of the record looks damn good, too…

   This is swamp pop, not New Orleans R&B, not blues. Louisiana swamp pop. Jeez.
