   Back when I worked at eMusic, the content management guys & I had a Wall of Shame for bad artwork. This easily would have made the cut.

   Oh, wow.. the mem’ries! I never saw the cover art of this album — but the title just grabs me with that misty, watercolored nostalgia!!

   My Spanish teacher in high school wanted to immerse us in culture like films, music, etc, all in Spanish. This song.. Vamos A La Playa, is one she played for us in class…. believe it or not, it was a huge hit with the class– I guess because of its memorable, repetitive tune, and the seemingly psychedelic lyrics.

   This song could very well have been the beginning of what today has become my seriously fractured taste in music!
