Sonny Rollins Plus 4 with Clifford Brown, Max Roach, Richie Powell, George Morrow Prestige 7038 (1956) This was Rollins’ first release after his very successful album Saxophone Colossus and was the last full recording including pianist Richie Powell and trumpeter Clifford Brown as both died in a car accident three months later. I just bought this on ebay from a guy in Denmark. I had only seen the version with the colors on it not the Chad design. I hope this is the original design. It sounds amazing on my system.
