The conductor’s name is Jean Fournet, not Pournet, and Leitung is German for conductor.

A very good recording, btw. In North America, it was released on Epic Records. At the time, the Epic label was used by Columbia Records for European issues, mostly from Philips. A reciprocal deal had Philips issuing Columbia recordings in Europe, but on the Philips label itself. It was not until the mid 60′s that Epic was rebranded as a pop/rock label by Columbia.

My wife is in another one of her “new hobby kicks” AGAIN!
This time it’s what she calls “her modern or new expression WHATEVER”! UGGH! Why can’t she simply take out the garbage, mow the lawn and do what any NORMAL housewife does??!!
