I just noticed the hand over Frankie’s head?
” And here’s another clue for you all. The monster was Paul?”

Matt, you neglected one of the most relevant details in Zach’s career, as a progressive rock DJ at New York’s WNEW-FM from 1967-1970, and then a decade at WPLJ. He was always a distinctive sight at the Fillmore East, 20 years hipper than the rest of us, with straight, gray hair down to his shoulders. More details at http://www.zacherley.com.
More recently, my partner and I honored John in a monster cartoon we did for Nickelodeon, “6 Monsters,” where we named the monsters’ school the “John Zacherley Middle School.” More here: http://bit.ly/IpKv

Also worth of note, that’s a great Jack Davis cover.
