A funny thing happened on the way to the revolution
“The Last Family” Featuring Tito Hernandez Gema International Records Presents. A crazy rip-off/spoof-of-the-spoof “The First Family,” the best-selling, sales shattering, comedy record and 1962 Grammy Record of the Year by Vaughan Meader. “The First Family” was a popular satire of the Kennedy’s until the assasination when it was pulled from the shelves. I’m not sure when this came out but I’d guess around the same time. The caveate on the cover is a little creepy if it came out post November 1963. This is just one of many satirizations of the First Family album (there were sequals issued AFTER Kennedy died, btw.) There was also The Firsta Family (what if the Mafia gained the presidency), and The Other Family (about the Soviet version, based on Kruschev). and there were still others. This did not peter-out until the early 70’s.

I guess it is a cover of its time ! Is it still relevant now ??
