Costinha, well-known and beloved comedian from my childhood, passed away some 10 years ago. “Peru” means turkey, but you could also translate it as “cock”, to keep the poultry-sexual correspondence. He would usually do a “bichinha” (faggot) routine, a genre of humor that I don’t think could be done anymore, with PC and all. Here’s Costinha on youtube:
