Is his last name spelled incorrectly to avoid a lawsuit? I thought it was “Marceau.”

Check the playlist, on each side:

    1. Silence (19:00)

    2. Applause (1:00)

OK, them, an inside joke for the record industry. Ha, ha. Check it out at

(scroll down for the story or search “Marceau”).

I don’t how much of an inside of joke it was.

In high School a review for it appearred “Voice”, a periodical given away, I think, from Scholastic Book Services. It was actually the lead review that issue.

    I also once owned it.

The liner notes were a real hoot in terms of 1968-1969 pop culture.

I remember later there was a gag book (late ’70s?) called The Nothing Book which had a bunch of blank pages, and eventually there was an accompanying Nothing Album.

I remember the same book with the title “The Wit and Wisdom of Spiro Agnew”
