Looks more like the Young Republicans’ Dance and Ice Cream Social.

Looks like Johnny on the right is in for a surprise with that tranny he’s dancing with. He should have known better going to an establishment named the “pepper lounge”.

This album (“Twistin’ Time” by Tyler King & The Twisteens) was released in more two ways (until where I know): It was released as “Let’s do The Twist” by George Torres & The Twisters (label: SEECO); as a miscellaneous “Twist em Vesperal” (by Ray Garnet, Barry Frank, Keynotes and others) (label: Albatroz). One of those tracks (My Baby couldn’t dance) was released as by Tubby Chess & his Candy Stripe Twisters. So, we don’t know who sings all the tracks.

Tracks also put out as by Robby Robber & Hi-Jackers, Dave Carl & Party Twisters, Ray Gunn & Blasters, Charlie Francis (on two albums, Isley Bros. & Chiffons with Charlie Francis / Bobby Rydell & Isley Bros. & Charlie Francis) & with no credit at all on a batch of E.P’s on the cheapo Bravo label.
The Robby Robber albums have various covers all with bizarre art work.
I like this guys voice. Wonder who he really was?

As it was noticed, this album was released under different selections and false names (the performers), although they were/are american artists (almost always singing cover of actual hits). But I have searched them in releases in Europe and I’ve got discover their true names there (Philips label). That’s all:
MARK RICHARDS: Come with Me / Did You tell him / Hey Little Girl / I just couldn’t take it / Oh This is Love / Swinging Papa / Take a Chance / The Birdland Twist / The Pepper Twist / Yes She knows / Why did You lie / Since my Lover said Goodbye / I need your Love / I was Wrong / Loving you /
BILLY WADE: After School / My Baby couldn’t dance /
CHET AVERY: I wanna thank you / Peppermint Twis
RAY GARNETT: The Fly / The Twist /
They are american singers and had many records in USA on RCA and on its subsidiaries, too, like “Two Hits” label. Enjoy it.
