Actually, Bobby Troup was engaged to Julie London in July 1955. After a five-and-one-half year ‘engagement’, they were married, New Year’s Eve 1959. They remained happily married for 40 years until Bobby’s death in 1999. This is perhaps a Hollywood celebrity couple record. Julie died a year later in 2000. It was a second marriage for each. Julie’s first husband and father of her two oldest daughters was Dragnet’s, Jack Webb. In the 1970s, Jack hired Bobby and Julie to to work for him on his new TV series Emergency! as Dr. Joe Early and Nurse Dixie McCall. Tat show ran for seven years.
Oh, that’s the back of Julie London’s head on the album cover photograph.

JULIE LONDON was Miss Liberty Records and so sexy and classy! Her JULIE album cover in 1957 was THE BEST!
