Illegal aliens

December 1st, 2006 in Illustration, Outer Space and Rockets, Wanted Records by lpcoverlover | No Comments

This is fantastic. Great color. Great type. From the early sixties. An obscure Latin pressing. Look at the great period drawing of the space ship and aliens behind the photo of Mario in song.

Robbie the Werewolf

November 29th, 2006 in Beatniks, DIY, Hall of Fame, Incredibly Strange, Monsters, Wanted Records by lpcoverlover | No Comments

This is one of the rarest beatnik and monster-related lps. It was featured in the book “Incredibly Strange Music” (which is a guidepost to any collection like this). This is a small press, local record of a beat poet reciting in full werewolf get up at club in California in the early sixties.
