Here’s a rare 10″ lp from France with early music from Jean-Jacque Perry and an awesome outer space illustration on the cover.

This is a sweet kid’s record from Japan.   Half a world away in the U.S. King Records was putting out lps by James Brown and Little Willie John.

“Totally great low-brow soul Lp from the late 60’s. The music is as good as the jacket would lead you to believe.” – Otis

This French 10-inch sleeve features a pretty cheesecake illustration from the late fifties.

Thanks for this cool one Otis!

“Buddy Mize. Obscure private press tribute to the kings of AMA dirt-track and road racing of the late 60’s and early 70’s. Wonderful “folk art” llustration on front I would kill for the original of. Total DIY piece from So-Cal. I found this missing the Lp so I have no idea what it sounds like, but from the titles it looks great. Most of the tracks are listed as “narration & theme” and are by Melva Murphy. Damn, I want to hear this! Anybody out there have a copy?” – www.otisrecords.com

This is one of a four-part series of singles all with the same front illustration of Dizzy and featuring the legendary cuba percussionist Chano Pozo.

Another R. Crumb Yazoo cover.
