Bettie Page in her famous Africa USA photo shoot in Boca Raton, Florida as shot by Bunny Yeager. Page is posed in a leopard print swimsuit holding the chains to two (stuffed) cheetahs. This is one of (at least) three covers used by Halo with the same photo.   All the music is just generic chorus and orchestra pablum.   This one is “The Best Musical Comedy Songs” (1957).

The De Castros… Music arranged and conducted by Billy May on Capitol.

Peggy, Cherie and Babette DeCastro. (When Babette retired in 1958, a cousin Olgita DeCastro Marino replaced her.) They had a style something like the Andrew Sisters but with a Latin flavor.

The biggest hit for the group was “Teach Me Tonight” from 1954.

I LOVE this one. Never seen it. Thanks to Kerstan who continues to share his fine collection.

“Love is a Game of Poker” Nelson Riddle on Capitol.

The Wild Rhythms of Jack Costanzo (aka “Mr. Bongo) “Latin Fever” Liberty Stereo.

Graham Forbes and the Trio “The Martini Set”.   1955.

Unlikely album for Sam Phillips to release.   An album of pop standards from the big band era such as “From this moment on”, “The lady is a tramp”, “Autumn in New York”, etc.   The reason this is so collectible is it came from Sam Phillips’ Sun Studios in Memphis.   Very few printed at the time of release.

“Pink Mood for Tonight” A Japanese lounge music record.
