The Wellingtons  “Scarecrow of Romney Marsh”  b/w “Trick Or Treat”  A Disneyland Record  (1964)  “The Scarecrow Of Romney Marsh” is a three-part television show that originally aired on Walt Disney’s “Wonderful World Of Color” in February of 1964.  “Trick Or Treat” is a Disney animated short and was first released in October of 1952 with a running time of approximately 8 minutes.

   if sheer repetiton could keep people on the charts, the wellingtons (if it’s the same group) would be up there longer “tapestry” or “dark side of the moon”…they sing the gilligan’s island opening and closing themes.

   ‘The Wellingtons’ also appeared on the show as the infamous ‘Mosquitos’.

   Would have made an awesome picture sleeve for Pink Floyd / Syd Barrett’s ‘The Scarecrow’.
