The leisure suit on the kid and the wide ties and lapels look more ’70s than ’60s.

This was definitely not aimed at people in popular culture. The people who put this out were staunch Christian fundamentalists, and they felt a burning need to get their “message” out to the world. They believed they could by performing in churches and by putting out custom-pressed records. Of course, it was pretty much “preaching to the choir” – lame pun intended.
