From the grass-skirted blue creature to the parachuting thingie to the two-fanged monster playing an animal-bass-guitar to the human keyboard player & jump-ropers in the foreground, almost plagiaristically reminiscent of one of my personal faves, The Lovin’ Spoonful’s “Everything Playing,” also released in 1968. So the question is: which came first, the crayon or the crayola?
