Don’t go breakin’ my heart
Bobby “Blue” Bland “Ain’t Nothing You Can Do” Duke Records (1964) Cover art by Rene
When you got a heartache, there ain’t nothing you can do
When you meet a friend, you smile because you’re glad
When a friend deceives you, it makes you feel so bad
When you lose your loved one, it make you feel so blue
And then you got a heartache, and there ain’t nothing you can do

A little super glue will fix that.

There should be a special lifetime achievement award to Duke Records for
covers and liner notes. Gone, but not forgotten, the art design and
dictionary prose are eye activated. “Two Steps From The Blues” by Bobby and “Driving Wheel” by Little Junior Parker are examples of Duke [inside and outside] at their best.

That is a great tune. I never was a Bobby Bland fan until I heard that song. I have been hooked ever since. Wish I had gone to see him back in the 80’s. Great soul and blues singer
