I betcha neither Marvel Comics or the artist, John Romita, got cover credit for this. Is the lp any good, though?

Doesn’t look anything like Romita to me.
I’ll eat my spider-mask if that’s not a home drawn version of an original by the great Spider-man creator Steve Ditko.

Spider-fan: I hope you prepared a tasty hollandaise sauce because the album does indeed credit Steve Ditko with the cover art. Stan Lee would NOT let something like that slide unnoticed from a company the size of Prestige.
On the back, it credits the drummer Rudy Lawless, who I had the great pleasure to meet. The album is very good, if you wish to listen to a Soul-Jazz record (which I do!). Freddie McCoy played vibes.
