My mom actually got me interested in this show back in the 70’s–she said the performers “dressed weird” but could “actually sing.” Although she did wonder if James Brown’s act was mostly a matter of grand mal epileptic seizures . . .

The label is “Adam VIII,” isn’t it, not VII — the label that put together the best ever Beatles compilation, “The Beatles Alpha-Omega”… except they forgot to get the rights to any of the songs…
