   this is a folk record from turkey, the name of the album is “garibanlar” which means “the losers”, in turkey they use this term for poor, naive, harmless, unlucky persons…the name of the label is “bati plak” : west records!

   Just to be persnickety: it’s an oud, not a balalaika. Other than that, great work!

   It’s an ELECTRIC oud! It has pickups and knobs! I never knew that existed.
