Danny Bonaduce, the child star of the Partridge Family, now an LA radio show dj and reality show oddball. Here’s his own lp circa 1970 at the height of the show’s popularity. Just because David Cassidy could have hit records didn’t mean Danny could, but MGM couldn’t resist that face I guess.

The Partridge Family were on Bell records (which later morphed into Arista). The reason Bonaduce faced no legal problems putting out material on MGM probably had something to do with the fact that he never sang a note on any Partridge Family material, although his face was usually featured somewhere on the covers of their albums. This was by no means unprecedented. Peter Tork’s face is featured quite prominently on the cover of the Monkees’ first album, and it’s questionable whether he sang a single note on the entire LP (he might possibly have contributed some backing vocals to “Saturday’s Child” but even that’s ambiguous).

Looks like this is Lion LN-1015, released in 1972 or 1973. The single from this Lp was “Dreamland” and the tracklisting looks like this:
I’ll Be Your Magician/Save A Little Piece For Me/Turn-Down Day/Blueberry You/You’re Old Enough To Fall In Love/The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin’ Groovy)/Dreamland/A New Kind Of Me/Colors Of Love/Fortune Lady/All The Time In The World
and i am going to guess it’s highest chart position was about 712.
