Another example of classical music pandering from Westminster Records. Beethoven and Barenboim and a busty babe!

I love crazy classical music covers. Like a desperate attempt to market “serious” music with jackets that might appeal to a larger audience of regular, simple folks. For example, here’s some guy in a devil costume with a hot dog on a record of overtures by Offenbach, Rossini and others. Thanks ABC Westminster.
Lp Cover Lover launched on November 23, 2006 with “Music for Daydreaming”. That’s 18 months of sharing our favorite covers every day. Today we celebrate our 2,000th cover and thank everyone that has written, left comments and sent in photos. I’m going to leave this boring party now and go pull out more records to post.
“This record can be used as realistic live background sounds for model and toy trains or enjoyed for the pleasant excitement train sounds can give.” The Columbian Limited “Real Train Sounds” on Columbia Records.
A beautiful, young Elizabeth Montgomery on this rarely seen early Sixties Japanese Lp “Invitation to Modern Jazz” on Japan Prestige. From 1964 – 1972, Montgomery played Samantha Stevens in ABC-TV’s hit series “Betwitched”.
“Toy Balloons” Russ Conway Columbia Records from Sweden. Thanks to Lp cover lover Ulf for sharing.
“Chaos” Bob Arborgast and Stan Ross. Liberty Records. (1959) Illustration by Bill Pate. Read about this and hear it too at I’m Learning to Share!
The Caravelles on Sonet. A nice Swedish picture sleeve from our friend in Sweden, Lp cover lover Ulf Gusafsson.
