well, i certainly wouldn’t want to have to decide between them and the “faith tones”

Can we get a face close-up cause I’m having trouble believing what I’m seeing here.

No fresh cowboys at town or what?
So this is the summary when brothers & sisters…

They could only make it worse if they called themselves a trio.

true, these groups never do seem to get it quite correct; to that end, they are probably not even sisters.

#4 (seated on the right) has a relatively normal look (my wife’s opinion was hippie chick), but #1-#3 look……(struggling for the right word here)…ODD – that’s it! — just…ODD…

I grew up with Carolyn as my youth choir director .. she’s the one on the far left. They were and still are amazing singers. They are in fact sisters and all are happily married with grandkids of their own now. They were all married at the time of this photo/album release. This picture was taken in the 70s .. they were quite popular at Hymn Sings and Gospel fests. They toured the circuit and were one of the most requested groups. They are lovely ladies inside and out – giving, caring and talented. They came and sang at our church – Bethel Lutheran and Carolyn was a member at our church. They grew up in similar circumstances to Dolly Parton – except in the mountains of West Virginia. I’m saddened to read these unkind comments about them.

The young lady on the right was my college sweetheart. She was the sweetest and most harmless person that God in His kindness ever allowed me to know.Still is, I suppose . I have not seen her since May 1976, but still think of her several times daily . All you comedian wannabes should learn manners , that is if you can understand the meaning of the word .
