   This is mexican comedian Manuel “Loco” (“Crazy”) Valdez. Two of his brothers were comedians too, Ramon Valdez “Don Ramon” y German Valdez “Tin Tan”, both deceased. He is the father of singer Christian Castro. In his time he was a very popular TV comedian in Mexico. I understand he is retired now, mostly because of his age (almost 80).

   He sang a strange version of “Yellow Submarine” ann many covers more. A surrealistic and great comedian.

   I remember watching his show in LA on one of the Spanish speaking stations. I don’t speak Spanish. And the only English i ever heard him utter was “One More Time.” Very loud. And usually out of context.
