Bijelo Dugme (it means White Button) were a Sarajevo-based band, and the most popular group in Yugoslavia throughout the 70’s and 80’s. Really good rock music, and excellent at incorporating other popular styles from around the world into Bosnian. I was an exchange student there in 84-85, and really liked some of their albums. Glad to see it posted here.

Bijelo Dugme where a Deep Purple-ish Yugo rock band from Sarajevo, back when it was still part of socialist Yugoslavia.
Their first LP, Kad Bi’ Bio Bijelo Dugme, featured a similar closeup of a girl’s chest with a nearly-opened denim shirt and a peak at her cleavage therein.

The band is probably most famous for guitarist Goran Bregović, who went on to become a huge rock star in the Balkans and scored several movies, including many by Emir Kusturica.

They reunited a few years back for a series of concerts across Bosnia and surrounding regions and it was a huge event.

In case you were wondering, this is a cover of one of the biggest rock bands to come out of Yugoslavia, back in the 70s and 80s.

The name of the album translates as “What would you give to be in my place?”.

In case you were wondering, of course 😉
