Hey Matt, I didn’t send you this one. Wish I had. Looks like Doctor Zorba is having fun at the party with his catheter hanging out from his pants, holding his urine sample and telling the guy next to him, “Easy tiger… I gave the bimbo in that tight blue dress a vasectomy earlier this week.” 😉

ove 30 limericks? if that’s not sophisticated I don’t know what is.

Naughty songs from Rodgers and Hammerstein?

Of course from Rodgers and Hammerstein. From Oaklahoma: “I’m just a girl who can’t say nnnnnnnnn……nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn…..nnnnnnnnn……” (couldn’t resist!)

this looks like either a Wally Wood drawing, or one of the other artists who drew comics in Playboy – perhaps someone like Bill Elder, who drew the Little Annie Fanny strip.

To me, the cover looks like the work of Bill Ward, a comic book artist who created the character Torchy in the ‘Forties, and afterwards contributed to CRACKED magazine for many years (sometimes under his own name, sometimes as “Bill McCartney”.) If this isn’t by Ward, it does look like someone trying to imitate his style, for what that is worth.

As the proprietor of the Wally Wood Blog (Hooray For Wally Wood) I can verify that it’s by Wood from 1964, around the time he left MAD for Marvel Comics’ DAREDEVIL.

This RIC records imprint is different from the New Orleans label. This is an acronym for Recording Industries Corporation and was based in NY.
