    How curious some of your comments – they are just the kind of jokes Max Miller liked and used even though he was most popular in the UK in the 1940s and 50s.
    Like this one (I don’t know it word for word, but you’ll get the idea!

    I was walking along a mountain side path and these pretty two girls came along towards me, there wasn’t room for all of us and didn’t know whether to stand aside or toss myself off!
