   An interesting cover, from the days when records aimed at a white audience by black artists always showed white people or cartoons on the cover, so people would not guess the artists were black. Usually you only see it in music aimed at Teenagers like Rock and Roll or Pop, but this one is interesting as it shows mature adults in their 30s and 40s. Its sad this racism continued up until the 1960s. If count Basie had put a photo of himself up it would have sold less copies. This would date from the mid to late 50s I would say.
