    I am at a loss to see the connection between kung fu and a protestant evangelist. Perhaps an example of ‘Muscular Christianity’ . ?

    And… “kung fu karate”? Kung fu is Chinese, karate is Japanese.

    I was a kid at church camp when Dean Blakeney preached. He was GREAT–he used his karate to keep the kids entertained while bringing the message of God. Great guy–we LOVED him!
