What a stellar line-up of talent Mike Curb and MGM Records was able to pull together for this early “just say no” type PSA record. Both Arte Johnson and Alan Sues! (Those guys were always wasted!)

Mike Curb was quite serious in his anti-drug ardor. So I’ve read, Curb insisted that all drug-related acts be purged from the label. This was carried out, until Eric Burdon, an ardent “head” got wind of this and insisted that he be released from the label.
He was retained, because the Burdon and the Animals were big sellers.
