    Instant Insanity Drugs

    by W. Cleon Skousen

As an educator, the parent of two teen-agers and a concerned American, I feel it’s about time someone revealed in a straight-forward manner the facts concerning the contemporary illegal narcotics scene. Only too often have the national media presented so-called “psychedelic drugs” in such a fashion as to actually glamourize (sic) their image. Kids do enough experimenting on their own without being subliminally encouraged via multi-colored features in widely circulated news magazines.

I know of no one better qualified than W. Cleon Skousen to put the lie to such tragic misinformation, to present the cold clinical facts and tell it like it is.

Mr. Skousen is a former employee of the FBI, having served in a supervisory and administrative position under J. Edgar Hoover. For several years he was Chief of Police in Salt Lake City and then became Field Director for the American Security Council. Today he’s Editorial Directory of the national police magazine, Law and Order.

My initial exposure to Mr. Skousen was though (sic) his hard-hitting best seller, The Naked Communist. I’ve also read and profited from his recent book, So You Want to Raise a Boy, and thoroughly delighted in his first record album, Building Balanced Children.

Instant Insanity Drugs tops them all as far as I’m concerned, in its timeliness, candor and logical approach. Using actual documented case histories of typical drug abusers, Skousen is able to graphically portray their symptoms and tell why these unfortunates openly and blatantly disregard most of society’s accepted mores and many of its laws.

Especially valuable to parents, educators and law men will be his articulate description of how evidence of use can be detected before damage is permanent.

Skousen brilliantly unmasks the Timothy Learys among us, the Pied Pipers who tell our youngsters they can “turn on, tune in and drop out” by means of potent weeds and seeds and chemical compounds. He tells why there is no such thing as a “good trip”. He states in a positive way the challenge facing all of us in controlling the spread of dangerous drugs.

This 44-minute LP should be required listening for every student, parent, educator and law enforcement officer. If enough of us, through this medium, become aware of the potential chromosomal damage and long-lasting psychotic aftereffects of the mind-bending drugs, then perhaps Tommy Forrester, and countless others, will not have died in vain.

just picked up a copy of this at a thrift store, offered them a double sawbuck…surface marks but plays clean through on both sides with almost no surface noise, and NO skips or scratches. Could find no current or completed listings on ebay. I’ll try it on there.
