Soupy Sales Sez Do the Mouse

img_1224.JPG

At one time Soupy Sales was very big. Beginning in the 1950’s he spent three decades on TV, talking to kids and often getting a pie in the face. He cut a few records. This one was his entry into the early sixties dance fad explosion — “the mouse.”

On a more serious note, there’s an incredible clip on youtube of Soupy introducing the great jazz trumpeter Clifford Brown on his show in 1956!

Stranger than fiction

img_0990.JPG

Emmanuel Lewis (born 1971 in Brooklyn, NY) is best known for his title role in the 1980’s television sitcom Webster. He is 4’3″ (1.30 m), which would qualify him as a dwarf. He is a close friend of Michael Jackson.   He has a massive collection of 19th Century erotica.

Lewis claims that there is no medical reason for his short stature. He has the voice of a child and is unable to grow hair under his arms or in his pubic region. He acknowledged this fact once and added that “It makes wiping a lot easier.” — Wikipedia
