“Alice in Waterland” “At Weeki Wachee” From the “Alice in Waterland Revue” Sung by Marlin and the Mermaids” ABC-Paramount

A nice one from LP cover lover Vitore who writes, “It is from a spanish-basque group called: Los Xey that had a lot of success back in the 50’s and 60’s. They were ‘a capella’ singers and used to sing popular songs from the Basque Country”

A French picture sleeve for an early “Little” Stevie Wonder single.   It’s fun to see the great photographs that only made their way onto foreign covers.   This is Motown, of course, released in France by Barclay.   Circa 1966.

“Three Wise Monkeys” for $.29. A Tops For Tots 78 record. “See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil”

“Anjos do Sol”   RGE Records

The Theme from the TV Show “Out Of This World”   Tony Hatch   PYE Records

“Adventures in Music” RCA Victor. A box of three classical music 45’s produced to introduce second graders to the wonders of music. Every school used to have these boxey record players in classrooms and the library too. And just look at the fun that they’re having. Circa 1960.

Les Collegiennes de la Chanson

Serge Gainsbourg “Percussions” A French Philips picture sleeve from 1964. These cuts and the album “Percussions” overall feature Afro-Caribbean rhythms, a female choir, and lots of percussion. “Couleur Cafe” is a great song with Serge in a delivery so expressive you can hear the smirk on his face. “New York – U.S.A.” basically amounts to a cataloguing of buildings that Serge saw on a trip to New York.

A nice French ep by The Miracles and The Contours two early Motown hitmakers.   Jerk it like you feel it.
