The cover art is a plagiarism (presumably) of the illustration by Edd Cartier used in the 1950s by Astounding Science Fiction in their standard “Moving? Going to have a new address?” sidebar. In the original, a large empty mailbox sprouts from the planet just behind the helmeted figure — he is bereft of his Astounding subscription . . .
Hey — I remember seeing a cover once of an armless piano player, a young woman, a Christian record. Can’t find it on your site. Do you know the one? One of the most astonishing covers I’ve ever seen, but I can’t re-locate it and like a fool did not save to my hard drive . . .
