The album was my father’s second album and an album which nobody in my family has. My father, Ronnie Hollyman “The Quiet Man” has since passed away. Any info regrading the whereabouts of this album and/or its owner would be greatly appreciated.
My father Ronnie past away a few years back on the island of Nantucket, Ma. at the age of eighty. He had played summers on island since the early sixties and was fortunate enough to retire there. It was his home and his love. I was fortunate to be with him when he passed. He is loved and missed by many as his music touch so many through he years. Please give my regards to those of the Bower family still with us.
Chris,
I knew your father when he was working in Nantucket at the Mad Hatter. He was a wonderful man and I was so luck to have known him. I wish I had this album or any of his music. I miss hearing his songs and just knowing him.
It is great to get this message from you. I have had the pleasure of knowing many of the Holdgate family in my youth and am grateful to have known them. My family and I are currently living in Branson, MO but hope to visit the island sometime soon!
My wife was wonderful enough to surprise me during my father’s memorial on the island years back by having the few recordings of his duplicated on CD. If you care to get a hold of me, I would be more than happy to send you a copy. Send me a msg through Facebook if you can. I would love to make contact with you. Best regards, Chris
