I've been going to Jazz Fest since 1975. The cover art looks very 50s-60s, but the festival didn't begin until 1971. Must have been an early fest when this was recorded. Saw and heard Dylan, Wynton Marsalis, Jean Knight, Allen Touissant, Snooks Eaglin, Johnny Adams, Tyrone Davis, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, and tons more gospel, zydeco, blues, jazz, and EVERYTHING! Gotta go back... My trip to JazzFest in 1993 was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
