What a surprise. George Feyer was a phenomenal pianist. I have many of his LPs and a few 10" records too. He played in New York at the Pierre Hotel. Studied to be a classical pianist in Budapest, Hungary where he was born. He had a great sense of humor. A Hungarian Victor Borge if you will. For example, he played many musical numbers (e.g. My Fair Lady) as if they would have been written by Mozart or Beethoven. A hoot and very clever too. I'm not surprised about this cover since it was not released in the very up-tight Protestant repressed US of A.

Who was first? This or Michel Legrand's "Bonjour Paris"? One is a direct steal from the other.
