You’re right about the moustache looking fake, but I don’t think that’s David Seville. Looks like a ragtime piano album; every company in the late 50’s put out tons of ’em. Joe “Fingers” Carr (Lou Bush) and Knuckles O’Toole (Dick Hyman) inspired tons of aliased imitators, from Happy O’Halloran to The Crazy Guy to (so help me) Barrel-Fingers Barry! (Not Manilow, I don’t think…)

Happy Pierre was Mark McIntyre, better known as an accompanist for Frank Sinatra and the father of Patience and Prudence McIntyre.
